5 acre food forest in the hill county of central TX is set up with passive water retention earthworks. A keyline design of planting rows and water retention rows are mixed between pitching water and on contour to capture rain events and passively rehydrating the food forest. There are ~1,000 fruit, nut, flowering, and medicinal trees planted to create this orchard. All planted with guilds and support plants.
